The sorrow of this physical loss weighs like an anchor, heavy on our hearts.
Our eyes flood with tears those times when we miss (pet's name) the most. Beyond our human experience, we know this pet now soars with the angels in realms we too shall one day roam.
We recognize the existence of deep, unconditional love and acceptance.
But even so, the physical passing of a being so dear to us is devastating; the soul and spirit that touched ours so deeply is sorely missed.
As we pray for understanding and healing, a message is revealed:
Each life has a profound impact on all others it touches.
As we move through the heartache, we move closer to embodying the peace that comes from knowing that her/his unique spark ignited the hearts of others and catalyzed changes beyond our wildest dreams.
As tears cleanse and heal our hearts and souls, they become symbolic drops of rain, gently falling and touching the ground where this pet sowed so many seeds.
The earth that seems so barren now will again sprout with new growth.
Those seedlings will mature and produce fruit of (pet's name)'s influence.
Its leaves will reflect light up to heaven, toward her/him.
We know (pet's name) will live forever in our hearts.
Each time the wind caresses and stirs the leaves, may we think of her/him continuing in spirit, dancing in that breeze that whispers to us all."
